2025 McDonald’s HBCU Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

We’re excited to announce that applications are officially OPEN for the 2025 McDonald’s HBCU Scholarship!

Award Amount:

Seven outstanding students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their education at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Could one of them be YOU?

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

✅ Attend or plan to attend one of the following HBCUs in Fall 2024:

  • Howard University
  • Bowie State University
  • Coppin State University
  • University of Maryland Eastern Shore
  • Morgan State University
    OR be a permanent resident of the DC metro, greater Baltimore, or
    VA/MD Eastern Shore areas and attend ANY HBCU.
✅ Be an entering freshman or a returning undergraduate student
✅ Show exemplary leadership in school and/or your community
✅ Complete the application linked below
✅ Be willing to create a short video about how McDonald’s has impacted your life, if selected
