Partnering with a Purpose
The Washington, DC Metro HBCU Alumni Alliance, Inc. (DCHBCUAA) is a non-profit community-based organization that consists of Historically Black Colleges & Universities’ Alumni chapters in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. We collaborate mainly to strengthen the community through our impactful programs and we exist to provide support to underserved students interested in attending HBCUs. Community Events:
• Annual HBCU 5K Run Walk Health, Hunger, and Higher Education Community Fair
• HBCU Community Partnership Activities
• Commitment to actively participate in Washington, DC METRO HBCU ALUMNI ALLIANCE events.
Chapters that participate in the Alumni Alliance will receive extensive marketing and publicity through the Alumni Alliance’s website, substantial distribution list, and benefit by participating in profit sharing opportunities.
The opportunity is now open for your chapter to become a part of this exciting and dynamic group. We would love to have you!
For more information or to join, please contact one of our officers. We are extending an invitation for your chapter to join the Alliance.
The requirements to join are listed below:
One-time enrollment fee of $250 (add $7.78 for online payment processing). These funds are used to cover general operating expenses and seed money to cover event expenses before revenue is generated. This alleviates the burden of contributing additional funds throughout the year. The DCHBCUAA profitability structure secures chapters against any losses when the event breaks even or has positive income. Your chapter can become part of this exciting and dynamic group. We would love to have you! For more information or to join, please contact one of our officers.
Chapters must join by April 30th of every year to participate in profit sharing for the race and soiree.
